OVERCONSUMPTION : Earth Overshoot Day

July the 29th is our limit. “We have used more from nature than our planet can renew in the whole year” according to WWF.

Global Footprint Network, an international research organization that helps humanity to limitate his ecological impact, calculated this day by dividing the amount of natural resources Earth is able to generate that year by humanity’s demand. 

WWF revealed that the Earth Overshoot Day comes 2 months sooner than 20 years ago ! This day is indeed coming earlier every year. How is it happening ? By draining environmental resources and heaping waste up. Our current demand requires 1,75 planet, so, we need to consider it and change our habits !

Is digital advertising more ecological than print ?
